MALIOBORO

MALIOBORO YOGYAKARTA




Kawasan Malioboro sebagai salah satu kawasan wisata belanja andalan kota Jogja, ini didukung oleh adanya pertokoan, rumah makan, pusat perbelanjaan, dan tak ketinggalan para pedagang kaki limanya. Untuk pertokoan, pusat perbelanjaan dan rumah makan yang ada sebenarnya sama seperti pusat bisnis dan belanja di kota-kota besar lainnya, yang disemarakan dengan nama-merk besar dan ada juga nama-nama lokal. Barang yang diperdagangkan dari barang import maupun lokal, dari kebutuhan sehari-hari sampai dengan barang elektronika, mebel dan lain sebagainya. Juga menyediakan aneka kerajinan, misal batik, wayang, ayaman, tas dan lain sebagainya. Terdapat pula tempat penukaran mata uang asing, bank, hotel bintang lima hingga tipe melati.

Keramaian dan semaraknya Malioboro juga tidak terlepas dari banyaknya pedagang kaki lima yang berjajar sepanjang jalan Malioboro menjajakan dagangannya, hampir semuanya yang ditawarkan adalah barang/benda khas Jogja sebagai souvenir/oleh-oleh bagi para wisatawan. Mereka berdagang kerajinan rakyat khas Jogjakarta, antara lain kerajinan ayaman rotan, kulit, batik, perak, bambu dan lainnya, dalam bentuk pakaian batik, tas kulit, sepatu kulit, hiasan rotan, wayang kulit, gantungan kunci bambu, sendok/garpu perak, blangkon batik [semacan topi khas Jogja/Jawa], kaos dengan berbagai model/tulisan dan masih banyak yang lainnya. Para pedagang kaki lima ini ada yang menggelar dagangannya diatas meja, gerobak adapula yang hanya menggelar plastik di lantai. Sehingga saat pengunjung Malioboro cukup ramai saja antar pengunjung akan saling berdesakan karena sempitnya jalan bagi para pejalan kaki karena cukup padat dan banyaknya pedagang di sisi kanan dan kiri.

Dan ini juga perlu di waspadai atau mendapat perhatian khusus karena kawasan Malioboro menjadi rawan akan tindak kejahatan, ini terbukti dengan tidak sedikitnya laporan ke pihak kepolisian terdekat soal pencopetan atau penodongan, dan tidak jarang pula wisatan asing juga menjadi korban kejahatan dan ini sangat memalukan sebenarnya.

MAIN FOCUS OF EDUCATION THAT MUST BE REPAIRED IN THE WORLD TODAY



Education is most important thing in the development of a nation. Of the requirements in advance of a nation can be seen in terms of educational progress. However, today we know that the condition of education decreases. Therefore, this should be no discussion that can give comprehensive solutions to improve the condition of education in Indonesia.

In the improvement of education in Indonesia today is certainly a lot of problems. Where the problems and challenges still remain the same which bear multidimensional. Education plays not only a means of knowledge transfer, but the wider cultivation in a very broad field. One of most important thing is the establishment of the civilizing character and character.

But in a critical revalued of the educational description above is still look a number of big problems facing our education. These issues are:

First, opportunities for education still remain limited. Although the government has issued a "fair" (compulsory education) 9 years, but the opportunities get basic education can not be enjoyed by all children for many reasons.

Second, education policy was highly centralized and emphasize uniformity that result in uniform load completely curriculum. Such Policy does not give space for education and development more relevant and according social conditions, culture, and economics. As a result education especially medium and college level as if the only increase number of unemployed.

Third, funding is still inadequate. Education budget is still far from adequate, not only to support the provision of infrastructure facilities but also to give adequate revenues for teachers and other teaching staff. As a result, their performance far satisfactory because they are forced to break attention and divide the time to get additional revenue than devote all their time to students and improving the quality of education.

Fourth, the accountability related with the development and maintenance of the system and the quality of education is still unbalanced. There is great difficulty in achieving quality standards, especially in the field of competence. This difficulty arises because the presence of imbalances of social conditions, culture and economy in many areas.

Fifth, the professionalism of teachers and teaching staff are still not enough. In view of the number of teachers and teaching staff are quite adequate, but viewed in terms of quality and professionalism has not met hopes. Many teachers and teaching staff still do not match, so they are less able to present and provide education that is really qualitative.

Sixth, the relevance of which was still unbalanced to the needs of society and the world of work. This not surprised that technology in this era constitute thing is very important in our life, and it more better principal than either activity. Besides that technology can effect the culture. There are some effect technology on the culture.


First, mobile phone remove the letter. For example in previously there are many post office because previously the people if will send the report condition for her family must via post but today we can immediately by short message from we mobile phone.


Second, Internet can damage children. It mean that application in internet can damage our children such as facebook, twitter, etc. For example, the children should study but he open the facebook. So he attention directed in facebook not in study.


In conclusion is fact that technology can affect on the culture such as mobile phone and facebook. It is not yet to find how the solution.

history of "Tugu Jogja"

Tugu Jogja is a landmark of the most famous city of Yogyakarta. This monument is located right in the middle of Princes Street intersection Mangkubumi, Jalan General Sudirman, Jalan PM Sangaji and Jalan Diponegoro. Tugu Jogja nearly 3 centuries-old have deep meaning as well save some recording history of the city of Yogyakarta.

Tugu Jogja established approximately a year after the sultan's palace stood.
